Police Week 2016

The Denver Police Museum unveiled a variety of activities in honor of Denver Police Week Monday May 9-16. Monday, May 9th, the Denver City Council will approve a proclamation honoring the seventy-one officers who have died in the line of duty. Attending tonight’s ceremony will be nearly fifty surviving family members of Denver Police Officers. Executive Director Stephanie O’Malley, Chief Robert White will join the families for the presentation of this historic proclamation. 

Council begins at 5:30pm in Council Chambers located at 1437 Bannock Street Denver, CO. Several Surviving family members will be available to the press.

City and County Building will be lit blue during National Police Week (May 15-22) in honor of all current and former officers.
