The Denver Police Museum would like to thank everyone who participated in the various community events sponsored by the museum to commemorate the week
of September 11th. Engaging community events help us reflect and remember our first responders whose courage should never be forgotten.
The Crime Lab presentation had 58 participants who enthusiastically praised the event.
Former State Senator, Bonnie Allison stated "Very interesting presentation. I am very proud that I supported legislation that helped put Colorado and Denver
on the forefront of DNA research"
The Bridgeway church event had over 80 excited children who received safety information and their own personal stuffed police dog.
Our commitment to recognize all fallen officers through sign dedications at the location of their sacrifice continued this week.
Detectives John F. Dea and George P. Schneider lost their lives February 11th, 1933 at 15th and Tremont.
