Artifact HonoredPosted: 25-Jan-2016
The Denver Police Museum was recently honored by the Colorado
Collections Connection Most Significant Artifact Campaign! This campaign honors and recognizes Colorado’s cultural heritage organizations that care
and preserve documents, films, diaries, books and other artifacts.
The Denver Police Museum submitted the “1955 Airline Sabotage Plane Fragment”
along with the significant history associated with the subsequent trial.
The public voted (YOU!!) on the Top 10 and a committee of historians, museum directors. Archivists and librarians selected the Denver Police Museum submission
as one of Colorado’s Most Significant Artifacts for 2015!
Your vote helped to enhance the museum’s ability to preserve and share the history of Denver’s law enforcement. This recognition is invaluable to include
in grant applications, capital building campaign efforts and to provide recognition to the officers involved in the investigation and prosecution of
notorious crimes that ultimately help keep our community safe!
Thank you for your time and interest in voting!
You helped the Denver Police Museum project win their first community recognition award!
